Description
The 550 XL is wide enough for two people to plunge side by side, or for one person to fully stretch out. It's become the standard choice for clinics, gyms, and coaches running group recovery sessions.
Construction steps up accordingly: a heavier-gauge steel frame with cross-bracing at the base resists flexing when full, and the tarpaulin shell carries the same double-stitched, welded-seam build as the rest of the range.
At this volume, we recommend running it with a Chill Core 500 or Pro rather than ice alone — the larger thermal mass takes longer to cool and holds temperature more steadily once it gets there.
